Ashley is the best! I wanted to look more polished and put-together - in casual, dressy and work settings. I had no idea where to start, since I have never had the fashion bug. I was nervous that we'd end up a bit too 'edgy' for what felt authentic to me -- but I was wrong. Over the course of 3 amazing days, Ashley: - DAY 1: Led me through a review of my entire closet (salvaging / rediscovering old treasures; coming up with unique ways of wearing pieces I'd had forever; and finally clearing out all the uninspiring items that had been taking up space for YEARS); - DAY 2: Took me to a few boutiques with curated selections, and helped me select all new items that were very ME (but updated); and - DAY 3: Spent several hours putting looks together and coaching me on how to put everything together. I am so thrilled with my new closet and excited to wear it all; and most importantly I'm surprised at how fun and engaging the experience was!

Ashley is a good friend of mine but also someone I go to for fashion advice - before she started ModASH. I am pretty classic in my looks and love fashion as well but it’s always nice to have someone to run things by. I had a wedding coming up that was themed “semi formal” and I knew what look I was kind of going for but needed help securing the perfect dress. I asked her to help me find a long, black, v neck formal gown that was elegant but also not falling into black tie. I gave her a picture of the look and she found a dress better than the inspiration picture I sent her. She also found discounts for the website so we stayed below my budget which was a dream. The day of the wedding I felt so beautiful and confident. I received more compliments on my look than I’ve ever received before. I hired Ashley to help with styling because I wanted to feel a bit more feminine and put together after years of the pandemic and WFH had led me into a sweatpants slump. Then, after going through my entire closet and her teaching me how to style for my body, I got pregnant. It was terrible timing for a stylist’s help, but Ashley pivoted without blinking an eye. She helped me look for maternity pants and create a gorgeous outfit for my baby shower. She truly goes above and beyond for her clients and made me feel so special and confident. I went to Ashley for help styling a dress I planned to wear for my Sales Kickoff Presidents Club Award dinner. I showed her the dress and let her know I had some ideas how to make this particular business-to-evening dress pop, but really needed some guidance. Oh- and I was on a tight deadline, LOL. First and most importantly, Ashley validated all of my ideas and thoughts genuinely and kindly. I noticed this about her entire process. She never told me anything was awful or that I was an idiot )which I often feel with fashion). She finds a way to point out what items compliment YOU and your look without ever insulting or condescending. I think this is so important when you’ve chosen to trust someone else with something as deeply personal as your sense of self, image, and any baggage that comes with it. She then promptly put together a look book of multiple statement shoes and earrings to compliment my outfit. When I say promptly, I mean within moments, while incredibly busy with multiple other ongoing business projects in process. With her assistance I selected a few choices and did try ons virtually. She used her gracious communication style to both elevate my confidence in making my own choices and educate me on things I would have never thought of so that I’d be better prepared to make fashionable choices in the future. She has a keen eye and deep knowledge of what colors and features work for different bodies and that is what set this experience apart. She also made it clear that while she’ll always be willing to take on another project, her goal is truly to help us as humans feel better in our own skin and step into the beauty and power within us. Too cliche to end with a quote? Too bad. “Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”- Lao Tzu. This embodies Ashley’s methodology and process and speaks volumes about the personal care and integrity she has in her work. I promise to return for more fishing lessons.

I didn’t realize how many clothes I had that I never wore and how relieving it would be to get rid of things I didn’t need. Ashley really picked the best of what I had in my closet and supplemented it to make it easy to look and feel good when stepping out of the door. No one has ever showed me so many things about how to dress in such a short period of time, and made it so easy to use a combination of new and existing clothes to make sure it all makes sense for any occasion.
